Haven't played it yet, but judging by the gameplay video looks great. And it is the "Memories of a Time to Come" version, which is my favorite. Do you happen to still have the tab you made and if so could you provide it? Or did you make it directly on EoF? I ask because I would like to also be able to learn it and practice it outside of rocksmith.

So you know, there's an error when I try to add DD to your version.   I don't like DD, and I don't know why you'd want to add it. It might be that if you play the song in the game, at the top of the screen, the last section kinda streches out. That last section might be causing the problem.   I just took a look at it, I made it so the last section contains only the very last A power chord. I dunno.   EDIT: Actually, no, it's not this CDLC that has this stretching issue. So I really don't know now.   The reason why I add DD is because I hate seeing the bars glitching. It's really just that, because I don't really use it, I always put the difficulty to the m├íx. I'm just picky I guess.

When you'll sort out the tones, one of your customs will definitely hit the Championship. Our biggest Megadeth fan is a real tone pedant    I did not quite understand that, what championship? What biggest Megadeth fan? I'm that fan! :D   Here on CustomsForge there are weekly challenges. Check this out http://customsforge.com/forum/38-rocksmith-championship/

Where is this song from? I've been listening to the album over this past week and I didn't knew that one. Worried that I might not have all the songs from the album I googled the tracklist and that one is still not there. Is it from a Deluxe Edition or something like that?

Do the two versions that you uploaded follow the rules of the site? The song already exists as an oDLC, even though it's different, it's still the same song.

Could you add a tone so it just doesn't cause the tone bug? And maybe some sections to allow to actually learn the song? I don't really like to ask for this kind of stuff because the creators already put alot of work to make a cDLC, but the lack of sections (Riff Repeater) ruins the point of learning the song. i'm really sorry im not so good to make cdlc always have an error so the only cdlc i make good is one track,no dd and no section and sometime tone volume not the same whit song, ever i have a problem whit sinc 2 track, when i siddivide a track and sometime when make dd. im sorry again i try beter every time i make new cdld but i like share a few good song not find in site even if not perfect but i hope soomeone can use my work for make a beter version but the truth is i make dclc for to have fun with my guitar so  sometime I leave everything as it is no longer change anything and start with a new one but like i writhe before i like share a cdld of a good song even not perfect  whith hope someone make a  new version i hope understand me  sorry and THANKS!   Sure, I understand. I'll see if I can take your cDLC and add Riff Repeater, Tone and DD myself and if so I'll let you know so you can update the file.

I gave it a try on bass, and everything looks ok, still I have no ear. Though longer leading silence is a must. Yeah, I've noticed that too on the Lead arrangement. 2 or 3 more seconds should be enough. About the tone, does it seem too loud to you? I'll down a bit the tones because they are too loud to me.

Dunno if this was coincidence or not, but thanks for the upload, other record's link was broken I've checked before making this if there was this one here already, but I didn't find it. Turns out there actually was and only now I noticed. Well, I guess my work wasn't totally worthless, since mine has Custom Tone, Riff Repeater, Rhythm arrangement and DD and the other doesn't.

Thanks Nacholede! Downloaded it as soon as it showed up! Was awesome! Though yes, it does have some slide issues.  BTW, whenever I post comments I have to type them and then copy them, refresh the page and then cut and paste them into the comment box, otherwise they never show up and just disappear. Weird problem, anyone else have this issue? Been going on for me for months.   Thanks again! :D It used to happen to me alot too, but it wasn't been doing that for a while now. I really don't know what causes it.

About the fret hand positions, I didn't even know that it was possible to do them manually, can you explain how to do them or link me a clear tutorial? For fret hand positions, they're set wherever the current position is in the song (the green bar), so you can navigate to particular beats by right clicking on them, and to navigate to particular notes you can do it by selecting the note, going to the note menu, then pressing the left or right arrow buttons until you're on the note you want (I think there's a better way to do this, but I don't remember it).   Once you're there, you press Shift+F, then enter where you want the 1st finger to be. So long as the frets used before the next FHP stay above that number (even if they go up 10 frets from that position, as may happen with tapping) you'll be fine. Then find the next place where you want to change the fret hand position, and repeat.   You can also set FHP automatically over regions of notes if you're happy with what automatic generation gives you by 1) selecting the notes, then 2) going to Note -> Rocksmith -> Generate FHPs (at the bottom) This can be a huge timesaver if there are long regions of "normal" things that FHP generation does well, then long stretches of things that it doesn't handle well (guitar with stretches across 5 or more frets or tapping are the usual problems).   You can also delete some FHPs, by going to the FHP list (Ctrl+Shift+F) and manually deleting them (one at a time, unfortunately).   I think that covers most of what I know about making fret hand positions. Hope that helps!   Thanks man. I'm always glad to learn something new on EoF to improve my cDLC's. Just got that done and it's working fine. There are some weird spacings between some letters on the description of the exercices (lyrics), but that I don't know what's wrong, everything looks to be fine on EoF. But that's only a minor issue, it's readable.

This looks pretty useful and well made. A couple of comments for making the custom more useful:   1) It would be useful to have some text (i.e. vocal track) briefly explaining what's being done in each exercise. For example, I imagine each of the 2nd through 7th sections are for isolating pairs of fingers on the fretting hand and going through the exercise using only those fingers, but since it's not explicitly stated some people might miss that and use whatever fret hand position they find comfortable and miss the point of the exercise. Similarly, if any of the exercises are meant to be done with certain picking techniques (e.g. economy picking), it would be nice if that were made explicit. Though it might be too much information to convey in the space available, in which case I'd recommend adding descriptions in the release notes or something.   2) Fret hand positions. You'll probably want to put them in manually for pretty much all of this custom. So in the exercises I mentioned above, you'd advance and retreat the FHP every time the notes move up or down a fret. In addition, some of the exercises have a "reach" of over 4 frets, whether purely fretting hand or in tapping, which makes the automatically generated FHP go batsh*t crazy. Fixing those will also make it clearer how things are supposed to be played.   Let me know if you need any help with either of these. I'd be happy to assist where I can! I've never used lyrics before, but I think I can easily figure out to add them. I know that there are some tutorials here on the forum, I'll just look for them. About the fret hand positions, I didn't even know that it was possible to do them manually, can you explain how to do them or link me a clear tutorial?

Great work! Any chance you'll do Frank Gambale's Chop Builder next? That video is a hell of an endurance test :) I forgot to say it to you when you asked me this before, I looked for it, but all I could find was pdf tabs. The only gp tab I found was only for the first exercice. So unless someone makes a gp tab, I won't be doing that one. Sorry.

This is so awesome dude :) I've always loved this video, great exercises and huge influence on my playing.   If I may make a request here, would you be able to do Frank Gambale's Chop Builder? That one is very long so you might have to do it in several parts though :D Never heard of that one, but I'll give it a look and who knows, I might do it. I'm still not sure, but what I might do next is CDLC's for Michael Angelo Batio's Speed Kills series.

@shredder666 can you add some leading silence? The song starts so suddently that I don't have time to play the first notes. I can practice them anyway throught the riff repeater, but I still think that you should add some leading silence.

@Warphine Hey, I haven't tried this yet, but you say that the RR only selects to large chunks, to change that you have to add sections on EoF, each section will be a part that will be able to be selected. You can also add phases too, but the sections are more important to allow practicing.

Thanks man! Great work :) are you going to do where the sky ends maybe? :3 http://customsforge....sky-ends-r13450Check it out!   Hey, sorry to bother again, but I think that the sections remain the same, at least the sweeps remain together with the first riff and at the end with the riff that starts before. Still, I apreciate the work you've done with it. That's confusing... In the first version I used the given sections, in the second I did them by myself. I have no clue, why it doesn't work.
