As I already said, I'm a bit obsessive and often put off by certain details in others' work (especially after downloading several CDLC by various charters and finding the quality can go really low on more than one case). I honestly don't mean to offend anyone, but I trust my work over anyone else's when I know what I'm doing. Besides, Nacholede's version of the album seems not to be uptuned and since this album has the "halfway tuning" thing I think it is as valid to have the drop C/D standard vesions of the songs as well as downtuned and vanilla (especially given the case of the Davidian ODLC). |

Yeah, both The Blackening and Burn My Eyes are halfway between drop B and drop C; don't know if they returned to that tuning for Catharsis or the latest stuff. I made this version for personal comfort (I tune to drop C and D standard) and to offer the same option for anyone who needs it, like Floyd Rose players |

Mostly because I'm an obsessive person who often finds annoying details in others' work (no offense intended). With this chart I wanted to make sure at least the lead guitar part is as accurate as possible (except for the pick scrapes before the 2nd verse and the noises before the solo because they are too vague to be charted), that the tone is closer to the razor-sharp guitars in the album (both developers and fan charters seem to be afraid of high-gain tones), and that there's a Drop C alternative. |
