Hi! I think you may have downloaded someone else's chart of this that is no longer on CustomsForge. I hope that you'll find this chart to be better than the one you played. :) |

I don't know. I did a search for the song before I charted it, and nothing came up. If I'd known it already existed, I wouldn't have charted it. |

I apologise - it's been so long since I've made a CDLC that I forgot how the permissions worked on Google Drive. It should be downloadable now. |

Because I am not knowledgeable enough to transcribe guitar by ear. |

@ I'm sorry, no. I do my charts by ear, and I'm not skilled enough to chart guitar unless it's extremely simple. |

Not by me, sorry. I've attempted to transcribe guitar, but I'm not able to do it. |

I really appreciate you going the extra mile and including the lyrics. I've been wanting to learn them for ages. |

Probably not from me; I'm not experienced enough with guitar to be able to work out what I'm hearing and chart it. I think there should be several lessons for this song on YouTube, however, and maybe one of those would work for you. :) |

@ I worked out the notes for this chart by ear, listening to the song and trying to match what I heard on my bass. |

I made this chart before I knew how to check the tuning frequency used in songs. Testing this one now, it should be A451 Hz. I will re-create the chart to show this. Thank you! |

It shouldn't require creating an account, but if it doesn't let you get past that request, perhaps this direct link will work: Â https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_5NRlhhqTyPbmhQMlJrVkFQMW8 Â This is the same link that the Download button goes to. |

Title: Don't Let Go (Love) Date: May 20, 2016 3:41 PM |
I had been wanting to do this song for a long time, but couldn't as I didn't have a way of tuning to B, until now. :) I saw your request, and absolutely heeded it. :D The notes on the higher frets on D were originally on the G, and I moved them so that the arrangement could be played on a 4-string bass (as long as you have a 22nd fret available... :) ) I know what section you're referring to, and I will check it again this weekend. It was hard to hear what exactly was happening, so an error is definitely a possibility! Thank you for letting me know! :) |

Thanks for the link! I watched that one, and some others of theirs. I hadn't heard any song by them other than Live It Up before. I think a lot of their stuff can be described as "a bit quirky". :) |

It did! It got to number 3, according to Wikipedia. It's one of my childhood favourites. :) |

I'd been side-eyeing that D 4th to 5th since I did it, and wasn't sure while I was testing it. Now that you've said, I can hear you're correct that it's 2 to 3. I think there's a ghost note after the initial slide, which I'd left out as I wasn't sure about that, either, but I think I'll put that back in, too.  That 8th fret on the E was a concern, too. I actually find it much more comfortable to play that the way I have it, rather than on the A, so I'm going to leave it for now, but I understand that your way is likely what most players may prefer. I'll stay open to changing it later.  Thank you very much for your help and feedback! And I'm glad there are people here who like this song. :D |

Well, I'd like to add guitar parts to all my CDLC at some point, but my guitar skills aren't up to it yet. I'm planning to, but I'm afraid it will be a while before it gets done. |
