Great custom, I especially like the Reverb tone, that must have took some tone wizardry to figure out! I have two suggestions though: 1. It would be good if you could add RR sections, that would really help with practicing the solos. 2. I think there are a couple charting errors in the second solo - in this part: e|--------------------------------------------------------------| B|8s13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-13-15-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8| G|--------------------------------------------------------------| D|--------------------------------------------------------------| A|--------------------------------------------------------------| E|--------------------------------------------------------------| There's a supposed to be a note on the 15th fret, but it seems to be missing in the chart. e|------------------------------------| B|10b11r10-8--8-8-8-8-10b11r10-8--8-8-| G|-------------0-0-----------------0-0| D|------------------------------------| A|------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------| There's a bend from 10 to 11 and then some notes at 8, and 0, but it looks like it's been charted as a 10 then a half-step bend from 11 to 12. The tab is from https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/up_and_up_tab.htm - it's correct as far as I can tell. |

Yup, Magic's on my to-do list. I'll complete it once I figure out how to spice up the blanks in the lead arrangement in a way that flows smoothly with the actual guitar parts. |

While tabbing the bass, I did some 'research' and found this video showing the bass at 2:45 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NnKllVba2w I tabbed it out like this: G |-----------11---------------|-----------11---------------| D |--13-13-13-------13----13---|--13-13-13-------13----13---| A |----------------------------|----------------------------| E |--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11---|--11-11-11-11-11-11-11-11---| -----------10-------10------|-----------------10----10---|| -----------------13----13---|----------------------------|| ----------------------------|--11-11-11-11-11------------|| --9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9----|--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9----|| I don't play the bass, so it'd be great if an actual bassist confirmed this before I commit the changes. Thanks. |

Excellent custom! really fun to play, got no complaints. The only thing is that one of the last chords is wrong. This: C# (key of the song) e|-----------| e|-----1------| B|-----------| B|-----2------| G|----1-----| I'm sure it only was a mistake and G|-----1------| D|----3-----| you wanna change to this chord ----> D|-----3------| A|----4-----| A|-----4-------| E|-----------| E|-------------| Thanks! I was just listening to the piano when transcribing that chord, but you're right, it does sound better with a high Db in there. PD: This bass cover has a better quality of sound and I think that is correct Lol, I thought that bassline was for the piano too, but now that I think about it, it fits in perfectly with Guy's usual style of bass playing. I'll update the tab and incorporate the changes into the next version, stay tuned! |
