I love those songs too, but there are no ready gp -files available, which means I'd have to chart them note-by-note (as I did with this song) and by ear, which takes time. And although they're not particularly hard songs with difficult chords or crazy solos, I usually make a chart when I really feel like putting the time into them (and that's not too often :D). Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't want to make any promises :/

Artist: Ocean Grove Title: JUNKIE$ Date: April 17, 2021 7:03 PM	@HardWiredTV If you compare the chart and how he's playing the main riff or all the other riffs, you should notice that the notes are on the same frets as he's playing them, so I'd say he does play in Drop D. On the second round for the chords on the first chord it doesn't look like him muting the top string because his fingers seem to be too low to be touching it at all. I doubt he's muting the top string, because it wouldn't make sense to move his finger one fret on the top string or to make that stretch on the second chord, if he wasn't even using it. To me the only chord that might be a little off is the second one. I'm open to try if they would sound better, if you tell me what the chords should be,

I watched guitar covers and I'm pretty sure they're not just plain power chords at 0, 3, 9 and 8. The one I was suspicious about myself, when I charted it, is the second chord (3-5-7). It could be (3-5-3-7) or something like that, but I'm not sure.

I would've charted Cult Drugs first out of any of their songs, if there was a tab for it :D If charting note-by-note and listening to the song over and over wasn't so time-consuming and tedious, I would consider it an option :D

Yeah, I have to do that too, but I figured as there are many other 7 string songs charted the same way (as in leaving out the highest string and re-tuning the 5th string) it would be the most logical thing to do, because then again people with actual 7-string guitars would have to tune that string down. I suppose I could try to make a separate arrangement without having to tune the 5th string. Or just trick the tuning and just play the 5th string notes one fret higher without actually re-tuning the string :D
Artist: Carpenter Brut Title: Leather Teeth Date: October 8, 2018 4:30 PM	Thanks for this! I've seen some covers of Synthwave tracks for Guitar and been meaning to chart one out sometime. I ran into an issue with the tuning though in this track... it's set up for a 7 string. For a 6 string the tuning should be: G-D-G-C-F#-A for reference, I used my drop pedal to lower my 6 string down to A standard and dropped the top string to a whole tone to G and the 5th string doesn't match because this is a 7 string tuning. Altering this will not affect the chart as the 5th string isn't even used. No problem! Yeah, would be cool to see more Carpenter or Perturbator covers etc. getting charted! But I'm not sure I understand what's the issue. I'm using a drop pedal too and it sounds fine to me even through the artificial, down tuned sound. Tuning the 5th string any higher makes it sound worse. Drop G on a seven string: G-D-G-C-F-A-D Drop G on a six string: G-D-G-C-E-A The 5th string is already half a step higher. The tuning comes straight from the guitarpro tab I used, so it should be correct. I'm not sure if you tried to play the custom before adding that copy-paste part, because there surely are notes on the 5th string.

I played through it couple of times and the chart looks pretty solid. I have some suggestions though: You should add a tone to the lead arrangement. if you don't want to create your own you can import a distortion tone from other songs with the toolkit (some other Amorphis customs might have decent distortion tones). I think the pick scrape at 0:30 mark should have unpitched slide, they should register the actual pick scrapes a bit better. The pinch harmonics on the G string 2nd fret might be wrong, it's a C# note and I didn't manage to get it sound correct on that string. It worked a bit better on the D string (same fret), got the C# but different octave. (This might be just me doing it wrong, I'm still kinda learning pinch harmonics). But yeah, the last two are mostly just nitpicking, nice work and hopefully we'll see more! Kiitoksia vaan palautteesta! Not trying to be a dick, but most of the WSS songs you've uploaded recently have some issues like missing chords = the actual chord notes aren't showing in the game (on the left hand side in the picture I linked). Also, the riff repeater isn't working on some of them so you can't get 100% of the notes to show up in the end of the song because it doesn't let you do it. I appreciate that you're doing WSS, as there weren't that many songs available before, but it would be great if you checked them so they would be more consistent quality-wise. https://imgur.com/hweAx31 I play all of them before uploading them and i haven't encountered what you have linked in the photo on my runs through. The audio of this custom is from right off the cd so i don't believe that's an issue, it sounds fine for me. If something has a missing cord it was the guitar pro file i used since i don't tab myself. Okay. Thanks for updating it, the new version seems great. Although, the audio still seems to be bad compared to the other WSS cdlcs you've made, dunno why.
