After a quick comparison between the two versions of this song, QOTSANINSOADKORN's and MissRocktism's, I have come to find that MissRocktism's is overall a much better CDLC. Firstly, QOTSANINSOADKORN's version is missing hand positions. You'll notice that the chords and notes are stretched out across the entire fretboard, which not only looks bad but also makes it hard to see the notes past the 12th fret, as the camera doesn't follow the notes. As MissRocktism noted in their most recent comment on this page, there are quite a few missing notes and technique indicators (ie. hammer-ons, pull-offs, and tapping). The tone has an unpleasant quality to it, and it often clashes with the music, and sometimes even drowns it out. There are also no sections, except for the last section for some reason. This exclusion of sections makes it difficult to use tools like Riff Repeater to learn how to play the song. The timing seems quite off in certain areas of the song, but it's not that bad. Secondly, MissRocktism's version already impressed me with the inclusion of dynamic difficulty and actual sections, making it much easier to learn the song section-by-section. And the sections don't feel like they start or end at odd places in the song like in many CDLCs. They seem to be carefully placed where they make the most sense according to the structure of the song. This version also includes hand positions that move with the song, making the chart look and feel better. With some careful listening, you can tell that the tabs were very accurately charted. I didn't hear very many, if any, notes that were out of place. The tone is also much better and blends with the song more satisfyingly. The timing is also much better. The lead and rhythm paths' charts make more sense considering their roles in the song and the people who play them (Duplantier and Andreu). Overall, I recommend this chart over the other, especially for those who want to learn the song with Riff Repeater. I recommend it based on its quality and care. While I'm sure the other had effort put into it, I can't possibly recommend it over this one. |

Any time I play guitar with my capo, when I do the E5 chord (open E, A, and D strings), it doesn't register. At last, I took the capo off, and it registered. It's kinda weird because whenever I hit the open E in the beginning of the song, it registers. There's gotta be something wrong with the chord itself. |

The only error that I can see from this is that the very last chorus of the song is supposed to be in a higher key. Instead of the chorus beginning on the 7th fret, it should begin on the 9th. |
