Feel like the first tone isn't the best tone for the part, and the distortion is overpowering for everything for the octave for me -Chartwise what's there seems accurate -Overdubbed lead parts in first and third chorus that could be charted --Outro recycles one of these overdubbed as well   Bass: -Seems good -Only remarks are it sounds like there's a slide up before the A 2nd shape, so it might actually be an E 7th shape. -Similarly in the bridge it sounds like there's a slide from open A to A 4th, which might mean it's on the E string too   Nothing requiring a new version, very cool song to see a custom of, thanks.   Thank you, I will revisit this song soon.

Date: September 11, 2017 6:23 AM 		@ @ well I could reup but they're have 7string guitar there, and this chart is way off tbh :P let me know what you'd like to change in this, also tone suggestions are welcome too!   Linkin Park - Numb (Distortion) and Numb (Bass) work well enough.  Both songs are using Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifiers and both bassist use Ampeg amps.   If you decide to add the fuzzy lead part during the verse for your remastered version  :)  One Step Closer - Lo-Fi Filter  would probably fit in.  Maybe try the bit cruncher.   In this case, Audacity's vocal remover function conveniently isolates the guitar. It's one measure repeated over and over again.  Only uses frets 4 and 5 (+bends) and open string on the A( b ) string if you switch to 7-string guitar tuned down a half step.

This way everything will fit the 4th fret position, removing a couple of shifts in each repeat.   Great job!   Yeah that is a lot easier.  New psarc file is updated to that now.

Date: September 29, 2015 5:34 AM 		Thanks and congrats on your first custom.   He is right about needing a custom tone.  Going into the tone designer there is a blank equipment slot.  Importing the file into the toolkit shows a blank default template.  Open up the toolkit again and make sure the tone was saved properly. Also double click the song in the arrangement box and make sure the tone is selected in the "base" box right below "tone selector".   Also notice how the song is zoomed out all the way the whole time?  There is an easy fix for that.  Add sections and phrases by clicking the beat markers and pressing SHIFT+S.  Throughout the song label the sections like the verse/chorus/etc.  If "also add as RS phrase" is ticked both sections and phrases will be added.   More info here: http://customsforge.com/topic/10520-creating-cdlc-tutorial-making-sections/

Date: August 15, 2015 6:55 AM 		That takes a bit more work and is gonna be kinda technical (no easier way that I know of)     You'd have to create a handshape for the first two notes.  Create a 244xxx power chord after the first two notes and in the N key menu make it a ghost chord.  Using the first two notes and the ghost chord press CTRL+SHIFT+H to create a handshape.  Do the same thing to the next set of individual notes (like in the picture)     You can stop at this point you'll get your chord box, but it won't have the right finger information in it.   Next is the tricky part.  You'd have to open the PART REAL_GUITAR_22_RS2.xml file and scroll down to the bottom.  You'll see a bunch of handshapes written that look like this:                                     You'd have to find where the x44xxx chords are in the chart (in this case the chords are at 17.986 seconds and 19.319 seconds) and change the chord ID to that of the previous 244xxx chords.  The new set of handshapes will look like this:                                     And this is what it will look like:     Even though there are four seperate handshapes, because they are the same chordID and there is no space in between them, it will appear to be one long handshape.

I don't know how to make that with the EOF   If you want to add handshapes to a selection of SINGLE NOTES only, just select the notes and press CTRL+SHFT+H.       If there are chords within the handshape:   Method 1) Select the range of notes and CTRL+SHFT+H You'll get chord within the handshape, but the notes will spin as they come down the highway and won't have a pane, which may or may not be what you want.   Method 2) -Select the range of notes but stop before the chord -CTRL+SHFT+H to write the handshape -start immediately after the chord and select the rest of the notes -CTRL+SHFT+H to write another handshape   Even though they are written at different times, in-game it will look like one long continuous handshape.

Thanks.Lead and Rhythm are working pretty good.Well i'm not a bass player but the Bass tuning is A. I did everything right and applied the bass trick so it should work D:  The tuner checks for A D G C so the the toolkit is set correctly.  The tab is correct, but everything (even the high notes) register as a miss.  I'd double check to make sure the tuning for each string in EOF says 5 (postive, not negative. it will get lowered an octave cause of the 220Hz offset).

Date: March 16, 2014 3:59 AM 		-EDIT- nevermind. Thanks again XStatic. I was able to play bass by doing the thing where you switch to emulated bass, play at the 12th fret, pass tuning, and switch back to real bass.  Got me past the tuner but this time note detection was a little rough on the low end. It was a fun chart to play.  Here's my playthrough although I had to switch tone settings cause the default is buried in the mix.http://youtu.be/k_yxCrggyHA
