I am actually afraid to tune my basses to play this song, why can it not be the low versions of the BEAD tuning you have set, it has broken a string and broken 1 tuning nut on both of my basses :/ Hmm, I was not aware of this issue before. (I don't own a bass, so I simply emulate one with my guitar). I'll see if I can mess around with the tuning a bit to get it close enough without breaking your instrument. |

Thanks for doing this one. Congrats on your first custom by the way! :) Edit: Just wanting to give some feedback. I've noticed that the custom is missing the usual 3 second leading silence that most customs have before the song begins. Also, it appears to be the case that the tab is a bit behind the song, which makes it unplayable due to the desync. :/ If you would like some assistance with working and learning more about how to use EoF, feel free to PM me. I'd be glad to help out with the development of this custom! :) |

Awesome, love this song! Bass seems correct but no custom tone... Track volume seems a little low, maybe thats just me. Thanks! I normally have not bothered with making customs tones for the Bass, but I could give it a shot at it for ya if you'd like when I release a new update! :) |

The acoustic solo must be in the lead guitar. Great custom anyway Feedback is much appreciated! :) I mainly decided to put the acoustic solo in the rhythm path to balance the roles in terms of riffs and stuff. I might change it up and move it onto the lead path or a bonus path perhaps though for a revised version. |

Great job on this! Love the song too. This might be a matter of taste, but on my copy I unpacked it and lowered the volume of the tones (except bass..didn't test that one) a little, then repacked it. But, like I said, it's probably just a matter of taste... The other thing I adjust was the scroll speed on rhythm...once it really starts up the strum panes are real close together. I just adjusted it from the default of 2.0 to 1.4. I'm sure some would rather it go slower and have them closer together, having it spread out makes it a little easier for me to play when it's a new song. Once again, great job on the song...the effort you put into it shows. Edit: Scratch that, I'll just go ahead and make another release with better tone volume. Again, I am probably going to make several minor edits. |

Thanks B) I'll try my best to chart in Bass for this, but I'll have to go and search around for some bass tab first. (Haven't found any so far.) Many of my 180 customs have broken sections in riff repeater (not all sections in a song, just one or two), I gave up worrying about it. So don't take it personally :D Another thing to try is local sections. If you are using global sections (same sections for all arrangements) it can cause bother. I haven't nailed it down to hard and fast rules but I think it can be to do with "empty" sections (sections containing no gems), or a combination or empty sections, which can occur if you are using global sections. If it bug you that much you could try erasing all sections, then adding arrangement-specific sections. More work and not guaranteed to work, but if its buggin you its worth a try. I always have sections as Intro, Verse1, Verse2, ..., VerseN, Outro Good luck :D Alright. I'll try that out next then! :) Edit: One thing I am going to try first is running it without sections (going to remove all of them) and pausing it in the middle of the song. A friend who charted a custom managed to get the pause function to completely work without any sections, etc....so maybe the real issue could be something to do with starting the custom up again after being paused...not sure, but I feel like that is the real issue. |

There has been talk recently of notes (gems) that are slightly off snap at the beginning of sections causing them to fail. Try this: - Load up your EoF project - On guitar arrangement (do it to all arrangements) press Ctrl + A, this highlights all the notes - Press Ctrl + Shift + R, this resnaps everything (make sure you have grid snap turned on in EoF settings, and I usually have it as 1/48) - If the guitar arrangement has tech notes (bends) then you need to press F4 to go to tech notes and resnap them too - Resnap all arrangements - Save EoF and rebuild custom A problem might be, especially with the tech notes, that you get a warning from EoF saying "going to have to snap two notes together". Do not click proceed, press cancel. You will see that EoF has taken you to the (first) offending set of tech notes. Chances are that there are tech notes hiding under one another, so just delete the excess. Repeat this until EoF gives you no more "snap two notes together" messages. Good luck :D Also, +1 for E standard. I am lazy :D And I used to play this in E standard too, so I know it can sound ok. Ok, so I snapped everything and removed the broken section........I ran it through the Dynamic Difficulty generator and it found no errors whatsoever in the logs... Rocksmith still refuses to work with it. >.< This is just getting plain weird now as there is literally no reason at this point for Riff Repeater not to work. I also made a new iteration, so Rocksmith shouldn't be loading anything cached. Once again, I'm completely lost on this. :/ |

(If it does, expect another release!) Also, the only reason I ever figured out how to play the song in E Standard was due to the fact that I was too lazy to tune it to Open G. xD Edit: I'll be damned! I just ran through some tests and all the note errors are completely gone. Just need to figure out how to remove this one "noguitar" section and I think it will work. :D |

When I get hangups, I usually delete all events from all sections, then redo them. I also stick with only chorus verse and solo sections names because RS2014 doesnt name them ingame anyways, I always avoid doing any noguitar sections. Surely you`ve tried a few of these. I was just thinking that if the problem is in riff repeater itself, not in tones or audio, it may be due to improper tags-names in sections and phrases or something of the sort. Silly question: could you do a bonus lead and rhythm arrangements transposed to E standard? (in EOF you would just change the string tuning and the notes will transpose, yes I know it will not sound the same way, it`s just that my guitar does not like this custom tuning). Ok, I'm extremely frustrated as usual. I named all the sections strictly just Verse and Chorus, and I still get all these errors. I went on and tried to do a bunch of note corrections, etc, etc, etc. I'm going to go look at customs that are "functional" and try to figure out how they work exactly. Any other suggestions would be of great help by the way (If I can finally break through this issue, I might be able to fix all my customs.) |

Try resetting your arrangement numbers, as the game has an internal memory once you play a song: - Go to toolkit and load up your save for this CDLC - Remove ALL arrangements (including vocals) - Change the DLC Name (the box top left) to something new (e.g. U2Plum to U2Plum2) - Add all arrangements again (to give them unique arrangement ID numbers) - Make sure your tones/paths etc are all set up again - Save that toolkit template (you don't wanna do that again...) - Generate new dlc If you have been making major edits (changing the CDLC audio for example, like adding leading silence) it can cause problems for the game as it "remembers" previous iterations. Whenever I edit tone change positions (and for some other reasons) I need to do this. Give it a blast man, can't hurt :D Well I tried it out. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same problem with Riff Repeater freezing. Is there any other idea that I should give a shot at? |

Thanks man! I believe Riff Repeater functions with the sections / phrases you create; maybe if you removed them all and recreated them again? (just a stab in the dark) I already did that method and it still gave me the same problem. I just saw PC Plum's fix though, so I am going to try that out now! :) |

Awesome - can't wait to try the new version!! To forewarn, the Riff Repeater is completely broken as of now and I can't seem to find a way to resolve it. Also, the song will freeze if you pause it. (That's a completely new problem that arose somehow) I'm absolutely stumped on getting around these bugs, so I released it in this state mainly because I have no idea when I'll be able to fix it. Hopefully I'll come across a method somewhere, but I'm pretty much going to halt both projects (see my workshop page) that I'm doing until I finally can get this resolved. Besides that upsetting note, I hope that the chart work is good by the standards and I hope that I'll continue to get better at charting! :) |

bass bass bass bass bass! Awesome - thanks for the update :)No problem. :D Make sure to leave feedback so I can finalize the bass arrangement! Thanks! :) K - a few things:- You should insert a few seconds of silence at the start - its pretty abrupt as it is- There are quite a few synch errors throughout the bassline - try turning on claps and listening to the notes synch in eof and see what I mean- The song goes on for quite a while after the last note in RS, leaving about 30 seconds of tab missing- There are several missing variations and fills throughout, especially at the end (listen for the gaps in the melody that he fills with assorted fills) Good start, and great song, but it is definitely going to need some work to be fully playable on the bass. Thanks again for your work on this :) Thanks for the feedback! The leading silence was a mistake I initially made when starting this CDLC. I should be able to resolve that very easily though. :) Seeing as there are fills missing in the song, I'll have to look at finding a better tab for the bass arrangement. I do have one or two other sources for a guitar pro tab, and I'm going to look into it. My next update will be the final one, so I intend to make sure everything is perfect. :) |
