Appreciate the effort on this one!  I've got a few Marillion tracks sitting in a perpetual WIP progress state myself.    A little feedback if I may; Lead: the intro needs a bit of time taken setting sensible FHP - the green string pull offs from nowhere are impossible to read correctly, and the random fret hand muted 12s on the A string are just odd.  https://i.imgur.com/fb9MAD2.png The green 5 and green 2, should be on the same fret hand positioning if the 2 is being pulled off to it. The Orange 6, is also the same note as the green 2 - so some optimisations of the tab can be made there.    Rhythm: Pretty solid, appreciate the time to make the chord fingerings make sense. Bass: Missing notes in the chorus sections.

Please fix your download link to a file that doesn't have (2) at the end of it - as this will prevent it from working in anyone's game.   Also note, as per our site rules update from nearly 2 years ago - all uploads must now have DD. This is automatically added during the psarc creation steps now if your tools are up to date.

New version ready and uploaded to mega.   > Scroll Speed changed to 1.4 in both guitars and to 1.8 in bass. Any reason for these choices?  1.3 is the "standard" for odlc, nearly 4800 official charts, less than 50 do not use 1.3 - and none at all since 2015, so - just wondering what methods you used to derive these values.

Given the shitty Aussie internet - esp over 4g (I'm from Gosford originally) I can understand disabling the BG updates. RE bugs, the lack of DD alone means there is a play count bug - that is enough reason (I feel) to tick the auto generate DD box. This is all I was trying to say at first.

I will be playing it on guitar - it was the file name when I saved it that made me go "huh? NDD really? Playcount bugged atleast" - DD can be added automatically now in the recent toolkit versions. Just enable the checkbox and that'll take care of most of the post remastered bugs for you.   Toolkit > config > bottom of screen,

Royal Blood is a two men band. They use only bass and drums, so all guitar parts must be only on bass. They don't use rhythm guitar.   I'm well aware but it's played just as much in the guitar's range as it is in the bass range   Some parts in bass is missing. The hole solo is missing. I don't mind about rhytm part, but it's strange to see for this band the split parts for bass and guitar, when some parts and solo is only on rhytm guitar.   You do realsie that the player has his pedals set up to "remove" the bass audio and  just have the guitar range playing? Not saying this is necesarily the case here, but it is what he does - so some variances between charts is expected.

Updated to v4. I didn't realise Remastered had issues with >5 arrangements. No gameplay updates other than scroll speeds are now faster. Enjoy :D   It also has minor issues on arrangements without DD - namely that it doesn't reliable update the play counter on them.   This is just my opinion, but there is no reason now to not include DD on all arrangements, the over-ride-to-max option in game fixes the reason to have non-dd options included.

Sweet, I've been hoping to tab out some PWEI but not very good at doing them from scratch. Did you tab it yourself or did you get it elsewhere?   I commissioned a tab maker to make them (the 3 that I've released) for me.   I know their tracks are kinda boring to play, but some of the licks are really tasty - and I wanted to learn them. I figured I may aswell put them out there for others to try - and this album was on near constant play at my place in 1990.

@zuca230 - First, I'll say that if you'd prefer assistance in Spanish, there are many capable Spanish speaking charters like @Nacholede, @HeavyMetalero90, @AntonZap, who may be able to help you or point you to other Spanish speaking charters who can help. While I know some Spanish, it's not enough to be useful with this subject.   If your sync is bad the rest of your work doesn't matter, so we should work on that first. I'd suggest looking at the tutorials, especially on syncing, and try to apply that. When you have something you think is well synced, upload the notes.eof and guitar.ogg files and I (or someone else) can double-check your work and point out where you're going wrong with the sync.   Unfortunately there are a lot fewer Portuguese speakers here than there are Spanish speakers, that have the ability to help.

You are dead set mental - and I love you for it, even if I don't have a bass and have to use emulated bass mode. So, Phantom or the remainder of War Of The Worlds next? The guitar parts on Brain Salad Surgery? Tubular Bells?

Yeah, when you have an hour to spare :D       Any news on the official release of the solos custom?  I'm sure lots of peeps would prefer playing just the solos to the whole lot...   Sorry, but I haven't had time to touch any customs for ages. Probably won't have much time to work on them for a while yet too. Mind you - playing that arrangement last night has kind of re-kindled the desire to just get it done.

Title: Greatest Hits
Date: July 20, 2015 11:33 PM
This looks awesome and all that, but why not at least separate the songs?   What's the point of putting all together in one? All of these songs are already available as individual tracks (not all by Plum). Some of us like being able to play entire albums (or at least the good parts of an album) without breaks. The music flows better, just as it would if you were sitting there listening to the album. Also, playing along to them helps build endurance in a way that Non-Stop play doesn't.      If you are unsure why this is a good thing - grab a bottle of your preferred booze, turn the volume up and start playing along. If you still don't "get it", then delete the CDLC from your list and don't worry about it. Those of us that do appreciate it, will continue to enjoy it.

Title: Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Date: July 19, 2015 2:24 PM
Not to be fussy, but its "Shine on You Crazy Diamond".   How does this one differ from the other 2 versions here on CF? Is it just that it is the Pulse version, and not the original 1975 album version?

Title: 100 Riffs (100/100!!!)
Date: July 19, 2015 2:08 PM
@haarek - Awesome work, I can't believe this has been floating around this long and I have only just discovered it.   I tried unpacking this and importing the XML into EOF to see why DD isn't working properly, but I get an error when I try importing the XML - no idea why, but it means I can't fix this for you myself immediately.   The XML file however lists a phrase count of 11 and a phrase iterations count of 111 and 103 sections.   Anything over 100 sections (not sure on phrase iterations) and the game won't correctly show DD, even if the toolkit does apply it.   I can see from the XML that there are several phrases/verses of less than 2 seconds duration, I dare say these can be cleaned up fairly easily. Worst case scenario, a few of the very short riffs get bundled together into the 1 riff repeater section, but RR and DD works correctly for the entire track then.   If you share the notes.eof file that Editor on Fire created when you were making this custom, I'd be happy to have a look at it and see if it can be improved. 10 more minutes of fine tuning and this custom could be made significantly better for most users.

Play through of Rhythm path (accidentally made mistake of playing the DD version, not the bonus non DD). Only a 73.7% mastery effort, but fun to play. The usual left hand cramps started about half way into Paradise City.   @PC Plum I know you hate the way RS2014 displays arpegios, but I personally find the intro to Dont Cry just about impossible to play without them! Also, minor bug to fix later - @37:16 in video (Sweet Child Edit, I'm a muppet - it's Don't Cry), you'll see the "F sus 2" and following F chord is showing the gems for right handed tapping instead of the regular ones for playing a chord.   http://youtu.be/HOcz3kyzq9Y (at time of posting video was still processing)

I was wondering how much longer you'd let this one simmer before getting sick of it and just putting it out!   I played some early version of this and really loved playing the rhythm track. Load up a few beers at the start however as you will want them. Link to the vocals track I was messing with, it works ingame, but isn't pretty - lines are too long - that kind of thing. If you want to load it up in EOF and tweak it so it actually looks pretty - please share it with @PC Plum when you are done so he can incorporate it into the release. https://copy.com/ZXaQY99TBFd0YsED

I recorded a playthrough on Lead, only 73% - my left hand was cramping after about 8 minutes..... Serious workout. Some of those stretches are damn near impossible on a Les Paul.... well, at least for me.   I had fun playing it - it has got to be atleast 17 years since I last heard any of these tracks.   http://youtu.be/NcCaDYgfSgQ   (video may be a while, still being processed)

I for one appreciate the longer CDLC's and enjoy playing them (even non-stop-play bugs me with it's gaps).   As for the DD, if you have RR sections working fine - try adding DD using the toolkit, but instead of the default Phrase Length option of 4, bump that up to 10, 15 or 20 and see if that makes RR/DD sections appear / work properly.

I've been away on vacation for a few days and was just saying last night to a buddy that I should do a CDLC of just Slash solo's. Get home tonight and see someone has already not only had a similar idea, but done it with the works of David Gilmore? Wow. I expect under 25% on first play through, but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?     *Edit, 52.7% on first play through. Holy freaking amazeballs!

Glad you are all enjoying this and my other customs :D     @ZagatoZee I hate the arpeggio marking in RS14, sorry :(  I might use handshpes in an update though.     As with everything, you always notice potential improvements after release.  I may get around to to tidying up the solo/riffs, using better tones and adding handshapes - but I did have to listen to this about 8 hours straight while making it, so a week off wouldn't go a miss :D   I feel you on the needing a break after initial release! Hand shapes would do in place of the full arpeggio markings, it┬┤s just obviously easier to do that if marked as arpeggios.

I will look into this. I made tone for Killing In The Name Of before it was officially released. I'll be back asap. Thanks, I much prefer your version and play it lots. Why the fuck Ubisoft censored the fucking offical fucking DLC I don't fucking know. Fucking arses!   Ubisoft make do with the audio track the artist provides, they have no say over using the radio edit or the single. I fear you may have to do what BHMath did and Ubisoft did, and that is using multiple rapid tone switches to get the whammy effect.

Title: Baker Street
Date: October 21, 2014 12:50 PM
Thanks for this. it truly is an awesome track. FYI, the sax player in this, Raphael Ravenscroft, passed away yesterday, he was only 60.   I know the guitar version of a sax line is always going to be "wrong" because of the difference in the instruments, but I feel most of the purple string bits should be using hammer ons and pull offs instead of separate pickings, maybe with a few bends thrown in on the sustained notes to make it sound more like the sax does.   If you do update this version at all, could you also tweak the locations of riff repeater start and stop please? At least the first instance of the sax riff, so RR starts with just that, not part way through it (missing the 11/12/13/12 part - or it includes 10 seconds or so of the preceding intro.   Cheers.

The studio recording of this had Dweezil Zappa playing the intro and outro guitar solos. None of the few live versions I found, seem to have the solo's in them - they are basically just the rhythm arrangement of this cdlc. I left the riffs out of the lead track for now, because it was easier. Having said that, once I am sure (community feedback) that the arrangement is good, i'll copy some riffs into the lead track to flesh it out a bit, since I agree it could use it.
