Some great stuff there! Andy Gillion is one of my favorite! I haven't checked the track thoroughly but everything seems to be right. Now you only need to correct his name :P |

I'm gay for Christian ├älvestam's voice so I'm very happy to see this stuff here. Wherever he sings (Scar Symmetry, S.45, solo work) he creates the most memorable melodies. Same goes for Bj├Ârn Strid and Tommy Karevik :) |

Something to keep me busy this weekend :) This might be the easiest song of theirs that I've tried yet but it is still awesome! |

Thanks for this wonderful song! That intro riff is one of the best they have written. Reminds me of the intro to "Neither Shape Nor Shadow". I have only one request like with previous uploads. Could you split the song into parts? It would be easier to practice that way :) |

Title: The Smoke of Many Fires Date: August 27, 2017 5:56 PM |
What did you do to me? I was tired and going to bed... Well, let's get down to business! OK so messing around with this for a while I found a great cover that also helps in the only tricky part I encountered. https://youtu.be/Q5__qDW3AU4?t=4m45s This is a more elegant solution but I suspect the band would play it like you tabbed it. :D Second edit: Could you add DD so it is possible to choose a section to practice? I can see the different sections right now but if I go into riff repeater it just chooses the whole song. |

Thanks for this one! Regarding your comment on string skipping and whether it is one or two guitars... I think by this point by checking out all the Be'lakor songs you have uploaded, that it is indeed all played on one guitar. The pedal tone of the E-string (tuned to D) combined with string skipping is something that appears on almost all their songs with similar aggressive faster riffs. The way of playing those parts is non-intuitive as you start playing the low E-string with an upstroke instead of a downstroke so the following string skipping will be done with outside picking. That seems to me to be the correct way, but I'm open to suggestions! |

Carpal tunnel here I come! No, but seriously, these Moonsorrow songs are good for testing my stamina. Now as far as the music goes... The guitar parts may be simple but therein lies the magic. Moonsorrow know how to tie all the sounds together to create something larger than its parts. And that is great songwriting. Over and out! |

This album has a special place in my heart and this track is the perfect ending to it. I often feel like my lungs are filling up with despair and exhaustion as the song progresses till the final scream. Those lyrics are pure poetry... |

Man, this really made me happy! For me, "The Gallery" is truly the pinnacle of a whole genre. It feels so mature even while being so early in the history of DT and it's still a fine record today. Looking at this composition, as with the other songs on the album, it feels greater than the sum of its parts. It's not hard or complex on its own but really shines as a whole. Those female vocals though... feel so odd even after a million spins! :P |

This one is one of my all-time 'Copters favourite! I haven't been playing long enough to feel confident but I've gotta say... this is an endurance test for me. Those fast-changing chords are really testing my tendons! |
