oh snap! i'll take a look at that post and see about the tones. I can snag BFMV for the tones, up until now I was just using Thrice haha! As for tone switches inside the track - you're 100% correct, I didn't even realize I was missing them until now! I actually spoke with some guys in discord and they gave me so much info today that helped speed up a ton of my work so much that now I actually had time to figure out phrasing & events today! I'll have to add tone's as my next task to figure out. Thanks again! |

Hey Ryanonfire_ ! I actually recognize your name (probably Discord) and I appreciate the feedback! I will admit that I've only been in Rocksmith for about 3-4 weeks every day now so I'm not very good at isolating guitar very well - yet. I'm an old drummer so beat tracking is where most of my polish goes, but I'm always looking to learn and improve elsewhere. Tones - Honestly, I take the cheap way out on the tones by importing preset tones and I hate that. It definitely does not sound good and I personally get away with it by turning the volume down a little in the mixer (which is not ideal). I've been going over tones inside Rocksmith, but it's still pretty confusing at the moment. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears! I'll send you a friend request on discord for sure though |

Thanks for the feedback! I don't mind the critique, in fact, I'll encourage it because it's only going to help me grow better! If you want to pinpoint it out, I'll take the time to touch it up for sure. I'm a former drummer who finally picked up Rocksmith 3-4 weeks ago so being able to identify/isolate guitar sounds and fingerings is definitely not going to be up to par yet. As for the banner, I'm actually glad you critiqued that too. I wasn't sure how I felt about it either. I just wanted an easier way to identify which songs were mine (due to multiple versions and bad quality of the same song). I definitely want to give credit where credit is due and not take away from the artists so, I like the idea of pitching it in the lyrics. I'll play around with it and get it swapped out. |

I did not know these comments were here! Someone else actually alerted me on Reddit that the 404 was an issue. I actually updated all of my releases (thank the lord there's only a few). Each direct link should take you to the release for that specific song now. It was working for me (but I own the project) so I was unaware! Sorry! Additionally - please leave feedback! I'm tired of the low quality CDLC, so help me keep the standards up! |
