I agree with tron001 that the harmonics are missing, and also I've had a lot of feedback issues with the lead tone. It could be my epi Les Paul 100 which doesn't have brilliant pickups but it's one of the few songs I have such issues with. If you could try using one of the other Smashing Pumpkins tones such as from the official DLC that would be fantastic. Thanks for all your effort!

I am picking up a small delay in the lead which is most noticeable in the main lick sections. I know this song pretty much off by heart (by ear anyway) and I am intuitively playing it slightly earlier than the notes are coming. There is also a chord change which sounds very wrong, this YouTube cover sounds better and uses open chord changes..may help (er, I just realised it may be a mashup of both guitar parts though): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1ew2RO3RDg (also check the outro it's a different chord). The lead guitar volume really needs a boost too and I can barely hear it. Hope you can fix when you get the chance. Cheers.

Artist: Ride Title: OX4 Date: June 3, 2015 8:03 AM	Ok, inside EOF click on the beats menu and choose clear all events. Then at the start of the song when the first guitar starts select the beat just before by clicking on it. Then click the beats menu and choose Rocksmith > Place RS section. Choose a suitable name (doesn't matter too much) such as intro, verse etc. Do this for all the main sections of the song. That's usually enough and the rocksmith toolkit does the rest. If you want to go further you can set the phrases of the song, such as a guitar lick which levels up a repeated part of a song. To change the volume of an instrument in Rocksmith toolkit click on the tone and hit edit. Then under Volume change the value, -21 would be loud, -1 would be soft. I would double whatever value you have there and test it out. Hope this helps. ;)

I'm not 100% happy with it as there are a few miliiseconds here and there, but it should be much more playable now. If anyone spots particularly bad spots let me know and I will focus some attention on then. It's a pretty fast lead so I'm taking my time to learn it and will adjust if I spot anything amiss. Rhythm and bass timings seem fine so I haven't touched them.

I think the main issue I had was that the volume for some instruments is a little low (the first guitar effect is hard to hear) and some of the tone changes on the lead parts kick in a little early.

I noticed the background audio is too quiet though and the guitar really drowns it out. Probably because of the original EQ mixing in the 90s, you might try bumping the audio volume in Audacity,or at least dropping guitar volume.

At least I'm listening with my ear and hearing the changes and then when I make them it's a beat too early. The single notes seem perfect in sync, I just think a few chord changes need the notes changed earlier. Its a very easy and fun song to play but the late changes are frustrating me, I'm pretty sure it's not like that in the recording. Thanks again for the Cure songs though I am enjoying them.
