Date: March 10, 2014 4:26 AM 		Rhythm is not possible to do in E, but Lead is. Here's a tweaked gp5 file: https://app.box.com/s/dy5qeh8n1czyynyf8238 It's actually quite quick and simple to do it. This song uses the same tuning as Dark World, so E standard will be a 5 fret transpose (7 on E string, but it's not used for lead). So what you need to do first is select notes that are less than "5" and hit "alt+down" (on a mac, might be different on pc) to move those notes to a lower string. You can move multiple notes at the some time by just selecting all of them. This is because the notes repeat on the fret board. Everyone knows about relative tuning, where you hold fret 5 on the previous string and then pluck it and the next string, right? But fret 6 on the previous string and fret 1 on the next, or fret 7 and fret 2, fret 8 and fret 3 etc, also match between the two strings (presuming standard tuning). So now that all notes are higher than fret 5, you can have gp6 apply the E standard tuning.

If you ever so kindly could make a new version with this E-standard transposed note-set I'd be very grateful :) And now the details for anyone interested: Actually, I'm wrong abut the Eb tuning, it's possible to do the lead with regular E-standard tuning. B Drop A is just E -> Eb -> D -> Db -> C -> B, which for those of you who unlike myself can count ;) is just five frets down so there's plenty of room to play the lead track on E-standard. That lowest note in the lead track which was at the D (blue) string fret 6 with the B Drop A tuning would be at fret 1 with standard tuning. Don't know if EoF can transpose the notes for you, but GP6 can. I've already done it with the file linked above, but in case you or any one else would like to know how to do it: Select the lead track in GP6, press the guitar icon to bring up the "tuning" section.In the drop down list where it say "Custom (A E A D F# B)", select instead "Standard (E A D G B E)".Two checkbox tick icons will appear just below this drop down list. You want to press the one that got a plus and minus on it, which will then apply this tuning and transpose all notes for you to fit the new tuning.Voil├á! Ready to import the track in EoF.
