1. For the tones, Take any of the Beatle releases that use an accoustic guitar (Anna comes to mind) and import the tone from that. You can use the bass and acoustic tones from that and just rename each tone to something unique. 3, I believe the problem is in EOF. I haven't tried to import the .GP file to see where the problem lies but it's not the toolkit. On the EOF revision, did you download the 1296 version ( or the earliest Raynbec reccomends getting first) and then overwriting with the newest version? The reason I ask is 1300 should be a build that took care of the problems importing certain .GP phrasings. 4. Are you using the latest toolkit? 2.5.0.0 I don't know why it's happening. I unpacked your version, re-entered the info and it was correct in RS. 5. If you changed the tuning in EOF, it gave you the option to transpose the notes according to the tuning. You don't need to do that. You do need to change it in the toolkit also so RS2104 will recognize it. Good luck with it. You'll figure it out.Ok, I believe I have found one problem; EOF I was using was the mac version which is an older version than the windows version, now using the windows version on my mac running parallels and win 8.1, I had (still do) some issues with not being able to import mp3's in the windows version on my mac, but now I convert the mp3 with audacity on windows to an ogg-file, so I can import the ogg into the latest EOF version in win 8.1 on my mac... So hopefully the rest will also be solved... eventually... edit: Oh and Thank you for the Tones -tip... |

Please take this a constructive criticism to help you fix some of the problems correctly. The timings on the notes are a lot better.. But there are still problems. Having charted quite a few Beatles songs, I will tell you I haven't found any .GP file to be accurate in any way. I only use them to get notes in a proper sync, and then fix everything by hand. (very time consuming part). The tab I gave a link to was just that. It had the correct chords but not the correct rhythm as it was played. 1. You need to put a tone and some volume on the Bass and Guitars.2. The bass looks good now, but is still wrong in spots. Particularly in the end chorus part.3. The guitar is still charted wrong in the end chorus and part of the middle 8. If you listen to the end chorus, there are only two chords being played there. G and D7.I unpacked your song in the toolkit and imported back to EOF. The chart goes off after the last sound effect, before the finishing chorus. These two problems could be attributed to .GP to EOF conversion. Which version of EOF are you using? Older versions had a problem with importing certain repeats in EOF. It appears to be the case here. 4. When you do the naming in the toolkit, you put the title of the song in the Song Title and Song Title Sort boxes I'm not sure what you're doing but the song is still appearing at the bottom of the alphabetical sorting.5. When you changed the tuning the Eb, you didn't need to change the tuning of the chords. It's a little confusing seeing a D7 coming down the highway and seeing C#7. Just a little more tweaking and you should have it complete.I really appreciate the criticism and the time you put in this  1. I didn't know that I had to actually select a tone, I thought leaving it default was good... (noob)2. I'll work on the bass part some more. :wink:3. Ill also work some more on the guitar part, but I'm using the latest EOF 1.8 RC9 (r1300). What I noticed is that even though in EOF the notes stop at the end of the sound effect, when seeing it in RS they are off chart and continue for some time even after the sound effect stopped. Is this the fault of EOF, or is it the toolkit or is it RS?4. Naming: I did put the song title in the song title and the sort song title boxes, so I have no idea why it appears at the bottom when sorting alphabetically...5 I changed the tuning to Eb in the toolkit when adding the arrangement, so I don't need to change that? |

Sorry to have to tell you this but both charts are completely wrong. The rhythm guitar is tuned to Eb in the released version. Plus the rhythm chords are all open chords (very easy for beginners it's basically 5 chords, D, C, G, Em, Am). Some of the chords you have charted are physically hard to play. The bass chart is way off also.Another thing to point out, in your naming scheme, don't put V1 at the end of the song name. Here is a link to a more accurate chart. http://www.tablature...php?id=Mjc5MzU= It has the correct tuning in it. updated:-changed name; so no more V1 or what ever appearing in the name in RS-whole different (better and easier) tab version for rhythm and base.-rhythm is now in Eb standard tuning-base is in E standard tuning and should be better synced (i hope) |

The bass part sounds like it's in either the wrong key or is transposed incorrectly.I'm not a bass player... :-( and just picked the gp-tab from ultimate-guitar.com and made an rs-file of it... but any help or suggestions are welcome, or anyone willing to give it a better shot and do a remake of it? i'm all ears for having good rs-files. |
