It's exactly the same concept as making a guitar chart, it's just that there are 2 less strings... do you really need to be a genius to make a chart that literally only has 4 strings and not 6? I have been waiting for someone to do precisely this song for bass, because personally I consider Failure to be the band it is thanks to those unique basses. I had planned to pay whoever was the first to make this chart, but I already decided to pay someone. Because if you are going to make charts, do them well.
