Thanks! This was a lot of fun to play. I ran through lead, rhythm and bass (not alternative bass). It was a blast.

This song is so much fun to play. I've had fun playing rhythm, bass (Zombierella!) and finally lead. Thanks so much for the Messer Chupps!

Really looking forward to breaking out the bass and trying this one. What a cool tune!

Thanks! I've been on an instrumental kick lately, having fun with The Ventures, The Shadows, The Spotnicks and some Duane Eddy. This was a fun one to play, and just in time. Thanks!

Thanks @Dortiz. I think I should have used Audacity to bump the volume up a bit. It is pretty low.

@JamesNicoll - I put out a tab request and got two bids. One for 15 US dollars, a second for 20. The request was for lead, rhythm and bass. I selected the $15 bid, then tipped 5 bucks on top of it. I did find tabs for lead only, but had a hard time mapping it to the mp3 in Editor On Fire. The paid tabs mapped a lot better - as you select the Youtube video you want tabs for, so synching an mp3 of a video to tabs in EoF was straight-forward. I'm not sure how often I'll use them, though - as $15 to $20 bucks a song is a bit much. My plan is to try ultimate-guitar and look for online "how-to" videos on different songs. But using this approach, I've only been able to get tabs for lead, and I like playing rhythm guitar and bass as well, so I'd prefer tabs to cover all parts. I'll probably use paidtabs for songs I really really want to play!

I need to spend some more time on synching up the beat map. You can hear it when playing the lead for the first part of the song. Time to re-watch some videos on editing CDLC. (version 1.2 is much beter!)

I used clean guitar. Dick Dale is using a spring reverb on the song. I haven't quite figured out the spring reverb tone.

This is really awesome! Do you still make CDLC? Could you do some more newer surf? Pollo Del Mar, Bambi Molesters? Some more Man or Astro Man?
