downloaded this to play the bass part, loads to the beginning and then the song freezes. Can exit song reload and same thing dunno why? Will delete it and redownload it and see if that works. Its a great song thank you to the creator/uploader. Found out that the one with the "DD" seems to have the lock up problem. There is another one there without the "DD" and it works fine, Dunno if this is just a bass issue or what, just letting everyone know what's happening here. ~Roon Roonsan, just letting you know that the DD now works without freezing... pls get the new file. |

sorry for the vagueness. it was on pc, at the start. the song wouldnt play, the highway wasnt moving. also, i do like this version, but is there a chance you would also be doing bowling for soups version as well? :)NP - just wanting to help out so the more info I have the better. Let me look into it as I had real fun playing it on my PC for both bass and lead. I had first wanted to do the original version by Modern English but when I checked the workshop, someone was already doing it plus I like this spunky version better for some reason (not usual!). Many thanks for the upload, but I'm curious as to why the guitar in the right channel is not charted? Not a particularly amazing part so it's no big deal, but it'd bring this song together for when one is playing the game with a friend, which is where I think this song really shines. I know when I was poking around Guitar Pro files I didn't find one for the guitar part, but there's definitely a stem for it in the multitracks I have and a Pro Guitar chart that one could copy from Rock Band 3. If you're not planning to yourself, I'd offer to chart that out real quick. I'm really out of it this weekend so I haven't done too much in terms of charting myself, but it's a simple enough part I think I could knock out just adding it to a GP5 file you could import.Sure if you want to do that and I can bring it in. The guitar in the right channel is pretty boring, its a repetitive line and that's why I didn't bother unless there was interest. PM me once you have it :) |

The bass track i had crashed my game. Have you tried other files? ie, the Full Band, the No Lead, etc? Any error code? So far you're the first to report this and just tried the load the file on RS and it plays fine. This file uses stereo audio, not mono which usually won't matter but different systems can react differently. Others with the same problem please report them. Thx. |

The workload is definitely huge and all the things you describe are outside of the charting activities. Yup all these files will show up on RS2014 at once, if people choose to do so, as each file has different arrangement identifications (see ... workload!). Any idea how you can publish for XBOX and PS3? I don't see the options in Wwise. Its more curiosity than anything else. Also in the Toolkit is it possible to publish for multiple platforms (eg, PC, MAC, etc) simultaneously? Respect to you as well PC Plum! |

I like the idea of multitrack. That's how Ubisoft should have done with their releases. But how is it possible to find multitrack songs ? Google is your friend although not all multitracks are created the same. Some isolate each track into its own separate files, others chop up songs to different parts. Once you find them, you need some sort of audio edit file. I use Audacity and its free. Being able to isolate a bass play, for example, allows me to hear and chart better. So its beneficial for both players and charters. But creating a multitrack release the way I've done increases the effort of creating a CDLC by 5 times! So the more people get into this approach the more we can share tips and tricks. I'm dying for some! Here is one example of websites that have multitrack songs. Good job! Bass side was very well done as far as sync and charting. The backing track leaves a bit to be desired though... Sounds very compressed through a decent audio system. The end cuts out kind of abruptly but I think that was due to the copy of the track. Little upgrade on the backing track and this will be a very solid tune. Understood and thanks for your feedback. I will redo the audio track. I also received feedback that the preview audio quality is not the best. Only with feedback from you folks would I know where to improve! Stay tuned for next version with better audio quality. Cheers |

Furchti, unfortunately I don't have a Mac to play around with to test the Mac conversion. I'm not sure if recompiling in RS Toolkit will work. Even with the PC file, I have to do a dry run before releasing it even though I go thru the same steps, sometimes the file will freeze in RS. Please check your PM. If you want a Mac file, help me test as I have no way of knowing if it'll work in a Mac. Cheers. |
