Got any Ideas?   as far as I know it could either be a conflicting song ID or the DLC pack used to fake it. that would mean either you don't have the cherub rock DLC pack or there is another custom on your folder under the ID "CarnivalPillows".   check if you have this custom duplicated on your custom folder, that breaks it for the reason above.

Anyhow, as you mentioned about maybe doing Bass, know that my vote is casted for that certainly. It would be much appreciated, Thanks B)   you're welcome. the DD thing is because the rythm are chords played really slow and spaced and the solo is a feel solo. DD hiding notes would only make it harder to learn the solo, since it's more about the timing. slowing it down with riff repeater will work much better. and yeah I'll probably add the bass, just have to rework the beats(problem with the guitar tab I got).

Date: October 22, 2014 4:45 PM 		hi, to make custom tones you go into rocksmith, then tone editor. there you have to test with the virtual gear until you think it's ok(you will need to know more or less what pedals were used on the song). then take notes on the gear and it's settings and in the rocksmith toolkit, where it says "tones" click add and just select the gear that you used.   and yes, you could edit that on eof, just move the beats(the vertical lines) by clicking in the arrows at the top until it matches the song.   thanks for the custom I hope you make more the vines songs.

If you can check it, thanks.   Edit   I fixed it. sorry, I am following this post but I was not notified about your comment. how did you fixed it? or did it fixed itself? I know that sometimes when you change the previous arrangement in a song with DD it may crash if you don't set everything do 0% before taking it back again to 100%.

Date: July 10, 2014 10:38 AM 		Got an issue.  Everytime I try to play this song, the game goes into the lesson, but stops with the song selection still visible.I'm still able to make sounds and it's visible on the in-game amps and my vocals still are audible.But it just, stops and I have to force close the game.Any ideas what I can do? I really wanna learn this one. this bug is generally related to having 2 or more versions of the same song in your dlc folder or the same file duplicated. also if you have another dlc with the same song name/ID, in this case "GiveitAway"you can try to download the last version, go to your dlc folder and search and delete any other version of this custom, then paste the new one.

I just need a tone file or all the gear names/presets

This was great but it did feel, in the bits where the lyrics go "Come on baby 'cause cause there's no name for..." that I was stuck on a D chord for too long. Having had a little look online, I see most people have that section down as A/Am/G/Bm. The synchro is good, it's perfectly synced. For the lead,the problem is that it misses a part of the second prechorus so the riff of the chorus begins too soon.During the first chorus (where the lyrics are "Change your mind tonight..."), the first note is 13 on the G string followed by 12 B string and 11 E string... but for the second chorus it begins on 9 G string 9 B string and 7 E string, which is the second chord of the chorus.For the guitar volume, i put it around -21 or -22. aah, ok.the dude that made the tab messed up that bit. I'll try to fix it.

Fortunately, my former guitar teacher tabbed out most of the solos for me a few years back -- just the notes, so I'll still have to figure out the rhythm notation, but it's a good start. I have a Gpro file for the basic riffs (I think, I haven't really checked it for accuracy yet). If someone else wants to take a stab at the bass tab for Marquee Moon, that would make it much easier.  I feel your pain, I'm also working on a 10min solo song with no gpro filekeep it up

I've actually almost got Scratches charted. just a few minor tweeks left. I have no idea on custom tones though. I was actually thinking of doing as many solo Frusciante songs as i could find tabs for.yeah, he released so much stuff sometimes I forget some songs, these are also great songs.about the tones, it's impossible to recreate it exactly because rocksmith effects are kinda "standart", but it's easier to recognize the kind of effect if you know the gear that he uses, in this website they have the complete list: http://www.jftab.com/htm/john-frusciante-gear-effects.html listening to Scratches I think he uses his Electro Harmonix holy grail reverb and the Boss DS-2 turbo distortion, the exact settings would need some testing.I hope this helps youcheers

Any plans on doing one of those?   Yes, actually I already started "The Past Recedes", but it's an acoustic guitar though, so I don't know what to do about it. I'm trying to get the tone right with the acoustic simulator pedalafter that I'm thinking on making something like "Same" or "Wayne". I got a tab for Wayne but I have to check if it's correct yet. I'm also about to finish "the sides" from Ataxia(his project with Josh Klinghoffer), amazing songI'll post it probably later today or tomorrow

Apparently the tab that I got from Songster not only was desynchronized but it also had lots of mistakes, I had to correct them by ear. Some notes were added, some were deleted, all synchronized again. Should be looking good now.Since I was there I took some time to re-synch the whole thing. The chorus is still bad but better than it was before. I'll paste that in the release notes and update the download link
