About the Artist

Royal Crown Revue is a swing band formed in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. They have been credited with starting the neo-swing movement.

The band was founded by Mark Stern, Eddie Nichols, and Mando Dorame out of their love of rockabilly, punk, jazz, and blues. The band included Stern's brothers Jamie, Adam, and Shawn, who were members of the punk band Youth Brigade. Other members included Daniel Glass, Scott Steen, James Achor, Veikko Lepisto, and Bill Ungerman.
