About the Artist
Deerhoof is an American independent music group formed in San Francisco in 1994. It began as an improvisational bass and harmonica solo project by Rob Fisk, who later joined 7 Year Rabbit Cycle and Common Eider, King Eider. The current lineup includes founding drummer Greg Saunier, bassist and singer Satomi Matsuzaki, and guitarists John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez. The band initially performed improvised noise punk and gained wider recognition in the 2000s for their self-produced music that combines noise
