    • Non-compliance may result in warnings, removal of content, or banning from the platform.

Adding CDLC Guidelines

1. Correct Artist Name
  • Ensure the artist's name is spelled correctly. If unsure, refer to the database to see how other users have named the band.
    • Example: Use "Guns N' Roses" instead of "Guns 'N Roses"
2. Correct Song Name
  • Ensure the song name is spelled correctly and make sure it doesn't include anything extras on the end that's not found in the original song title.
    • Example: "Metallica - One", instead of "Metallica - One (Charter's Version)"
  • Extras that should not be included in the Customsforge entry are:
    • (Charter's Version)
    • (Multitrack)
    • (Multipitch)
    • (feat. Artist)
    • (X's Cover)

There are tags available for the above that should be used instead, and a devoted Features field on the upload page for any featured artists.

Double check how the song title is formatted on other streaming platforms like Spotify/ Apple Music etc. if you are unsure, or ask in the CF #creators channel on Discord.
