Title: A Broken Man Date: December 19, 2024 12:29 AM |
Yo! I wanted to let you know I discovered a part of the chart that is off in the solo. The part I am mentioning is on the correct frets, but not the correct strings. If you watch from this timestamp, it's the little riff right before the scale run starting on fret 9, those two measures. Feel free to message me, if you have any questions about what I may be commenting on. Thank you again for charting all of these for us! |

Yes, there are a few differences to how Brooklyn Sound has it charted. I tried to match it as close as I could to how they play it live by watching some of their live performances. |

This has me thinking... does anyone think it's possible to take a bunch of already made CDLC and re-make it like this? I'd die for an Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album version! Woo! I'm sure something like that could be done using the charts that are already on here, but not sure if it would be allowed because of that person not being the original charter. Now, I or someone else could possibly look into making that full album a chart, but the case would be that we may have to do it from scratch. |

I used the officlal tab when I made this. I will look into this and see if I can make the solo a little easier to play, and that main riff is how it is charted in the officlal tab as well. Like I said, I will double check and make sure for you all. Thank you, I didnt say you should make it easier, though. I cant find any official tabs, do you have a link? Did they release a Songbook or sth? Sorry for the late reply. It was an official tab on ultimate guitar tab that I used. I still need to go back and edit, and what I meant by easier was the hammer ons and pull offs for the solo. I actually seen them live a few months back and seen that a few of my charts need to be redone to how they play it. I have some video footage that I will go back to reference on as well. |

Real tuning is D drop C. I had to convert everyting over to D tuning for this version since there is no way to split 2 tunings for a song I understand that the tunings can not be combined in the same song ... but then the part of See The Light is wrong. What is the meaning of playing something that is wrong? Leave both songs separated, is the best. Regards! The only thing that is missing out of this whole thing with it being in D Standard is when there is a chord that uses that C string, which only happens like 3 or 4 times in the song. Everything else for that song is correct. I even went as far into it as converting those chords that could be for you to play in D standard. I just put this out there for those that would want to hear the two together or play the two together instead of having to do them separately. That's how I like to hear songs that merge into each other and others have told me the same. But thanks for the feedback! |

Just keep it in Drop C and then when it goes to D Standard, just have your guitar tech pass you the other guitar... ;) Haha if only it could work that way in the game. But it goes from D standard to D drop C. If they had a way to chart the two tunings together, I most definitely would. |

I'm going to go back over the weekend and edit this. I went back and watched some live versions and could tell that it was different from how I have it charted. Expect it to be updated no later than Sunday! |

I don't remember seeing them play it with a capo when I seen them live, but the tabs I have seen of this are all in E standard. I will look into this and make adjustments to it if it is in D Standard. |

I am going to go back today and add the bass parts to them. My main focus was just lead guitar at first. |
