Allegaeon is an American death metal band from Fort Collins, Colorado, formed in 2008. The band has released one EP and seven studio albums, and is currently signed to Metal Blade Records.
Allegaeon was formed in 2007 and initially performed at small venues in and around Fort Collins. In August 2008, they independently released a self-titled EP, which was followed by a signing with Metal Blade Records. The band recorded their debut album, "Fragments of Form and Function," in January 2010, and it was released on July 20, 2010.
