Grabbed this on a whim without being familiar with the song. Enjoyed the play...bass tones were very nice IMO. Well done! Only suggestion is to maybe cut the longer skyline "phrases" in half, but that's probably not even necessary here since it's not a crazy bass line. Thanks! |

Ok champ, I don't know anything about whatever foolishness you're spewing. Sorry if you previously had a chart that was reported and removed. No need to be a jerk because someone else hurt your feelings. Accusing me of reposting your old chart is childish and unfounded. I'd ask for evidence to support your claim, but I know there just isn't any. If you actually took a minute to play this chart before spouting off, I'm certain you'd see notable differences from whatever version you might have had. Please take your nonsense elsewhere. Peace be with you. |

I might have been a bit harsh in my comment, but my point stands. It becomes frustrating over time to see folks post "requests" on someone's chart without at least offering a nod of thanks for the effort invested in the subject chart. For sure some old charts need to be freshened up (including some of mine to be fair), but I've seen similar comments on some of my other charts as well as on charts from many other folks. You just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time regarding the topic. Regardless, if you ever have any feedback for improvement on my charts please be sure to let me know. |

Title: Deadly Dull Date: July 22, 2024 1:09 AM |
A couple years later and I have more realistic feedback (at least regarding the bass chart). The bass chart screams of default EOF output rather than deliberate decisions in EOF, especially regarding "phrasing" and FHP assignment. The skyline "phrasing" and resultant FHP is quiet a bit suspect and clearly not intentional. Also, the bass tone is quite a bit bottom heavy. |

Greatly appreciate the hard work that you put into these charts. That said, I see a lot of default EOF output (skyline phrasing, FHP, chord fingering, etc.). Highly recommend that you manually set these in EOF rather than accept default output...only takes a few extra minutes and is 100% worth the time. When so, the charts will be much closer to ODLC standards, easier to sight-read, and of a notable quality that isn't as common on CF as should be. Great resource: https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/30557-guidelines-for-official-looking-customs/#comment-219855 Cheers! |

Title: Mrs. Robinson Date: November 25, 2023 7:25 PM |
Experienced players can figure out properly playing the chart as is, but it could certainly be better. Also, the primary tone volume is a bit unbalanced on the loud side. Though the notes seem mostly ok, many passages don't reflect the way they (The Lemonheads) play this one out live (particularly on bass). Consider some transpositions to reflect this and make it more accurate for a future update. |

Title: Mrs. Robinson Date: November 25, 2023 7:25 PM |
It's quite unfortunate that you aren't willing to accept constructive feedback, especially since you're building some of these charts for commission. Fret hand positions (FHP), chord fingering, and section/phrase delineation are quite amiss across the chart and reflective of EOF default output...as is, it doesn't reflect a congruent way to play the track and is outside of the Official DLC standard (which should be the goal). I'd offer a link for reference, but you've apparently seen it and didn't absorb the contents or care to implement those recommendations. |

Title: Wasting My Time Date: February 20, 2023 3:10 PM |
@Outlander - fair point. The initial tone to simulate the volume swell is built with a very slow noise gate and then subsequently switches to the normal dist tone after one measure when the swell is complete. My "everyday" guitar has a mid-to-high output passive humbucker in the bridge and the intro volume swell tone was based on the sustain from that guitar. Based on your feedback, I gave it a play with a low output humbucker and a single coil strat and sure enouigh, the noise gate chokes off the sustain before the following tone change. I'll tinker with it and likely post an updated chart with adjusted noise gate settings to accomodate a wider range of pickup outputs for the initial volume swell. Thanks! |

Easier to spot at reduced speed in Riff Repeater. Title: Butterfly Date: July 29, 2022 8:24 AM |
Regarding the guitar tab, I made some time to double-check my work and I’m going to stick with how I currently have it charted for the following reasons: - On the original RHCP recording of Pretty Little Ditty the “sampled” riff is played on two occasions: approximately 0:51-1:00 https://youtu.be/3mjZ61IW-Nw?t=50 and again at 2:02-2:11 https://youtu.be/3mjZ61IW-Nw?t=122. There are slight variations between the two iterations, but Frusciante clearly plays the beginning of the riff as 14G, 13B, and 12e. This is also the case in every live performance of Pretty Little Ditty that I referenced (one example: https://youtu.be/bAiqRlpQl08?t=85). - In the portion that was sampled for Butterfly (approximately 2:02-2:11) Frusciante seems to slightly flub the 12e on the recording. It’s a bit muffled but it’s there if you listen for it, especially if you slow down the recorded audio. On the recorded version, Flea comes in with an A (A4?) note on trumpet at the same time (10B or 14G on the guitar as found in the Rhythm chart). In my opinion, the muffled 12e note is a bit overpowered by the trumpet A note which is why most transcriptions / tabs have the guitar going back to 14G instead of the 12e as played by Frusciante. |

Title: Innocent Date: March 27, 2022 1:24 AM |
@warderkeeju - If it is the part i think you are talking about, take a careful look at a slower speed in Riff Repeater. Play the notated chord at the 7th fret, then slide that fingering position up 2 frets and back to the original position (7th fret) without strumming and while maintining finger pressure on the strings. Then strum the next chord at the 5th fret and continue. Hope that makes sense and helps. At slower speeds in Riff Repeater, the fingering prescription on the in-game fretboard will be easier to follow and hopefully help with what I've explained in words. |

I noticed that I neglected to set the Bass tuning properly in DLC Builder. On the song selection screen in game it said "Custom Tuning" for Bass instead of Drop C. However, the erroneous tuning label had zero impact on proper tuning and playing the actual chart.Nonetheless, I've updated the download file to v1.0a for those who want to grab it. Nothing was changed in any of the charts other than ensuring that the Bass tuning displays properly on the song selection screen (and for use in nonstop play). I really appreciate that you took time to put these tabs into a chart for RS, but the default Rocksmith Lead/Rhythm/Bass tones just don't work for most songs. I highly encourage you to learn how to use custom tones (or "borrow" Official DLC tones) and tone changes into your CDLC. This would make a really big difference during playback of your work. Feel free to send me a PM through Custom Forge if you have any questions or need any assistance. Cheers! |

Title: Goodbye Date: November 5, 2021 11:56 PM |
Friday night, new Limp Bizkit in 2021...well, why not give it a go? I enjoyed it so thanks! Probably a personal preference, but I prefer just using handshapes in EOF in place of the arpeggio notation. My opinion is that the arpeggio notation adds unnecessary clutter to the note highway while handshape notation conveys the same info without the extra garble on the screen. Regarding the ethereal parts, maybe add a some extra reverb and/or experiment with the lo-fi filter in the effects loop to shape the tone to your liking? Many thanks! |

Title: Are You There? Date: September 23, 2021 10:43 PM |
@ Hikikomori - greatly appreciate the constructive feedback...many thanks! After a closer listen, I can't disagree about the double open note during the bass intro...didn't hear it at first, but now I do.Will add the harmony you mentioned to the Alt Lead track in the very near future...I felt like the audible harmony was coming from the vocals, but it could very likely be a layered track as you suggest so I'll add it.Pertaining to the intermittent embellishments you mention, I don't necessarily disagree but I initially not to chase those. If I look to nail those down, I'll be sure to solicit your feedback. For the lead delay tone parts during the verses, try playing the note (7G or 10e) as staccato or for an 8th note duration rather than holding the sustain...that should let the repeats do the work. I initially had it charted that way but got talked into showing the note sustain for the full measure during the delay repeats. -palms |

I happened to catch your response yesterday...please take no offense from my feedback as it's offered solely with the best of intentions (I enjoy playing many of your charts and appreciate your contributions). After another play through with less weary eyes, I can see that you did set most chord fingerings and FHP...there were a few power chords (33, 55, 222, 333, 555 I think) on the rhythm chart that had EOF default fingering (2-3 or 1-2-3) that caught my eye and prompted my previous feedback. Looking forward to your future charts...thanks! |

Greatly enjoyed it - thanks for putting up some new Rise Against! Highly recommend that you look into setting fret hand positions (FHP) and chord fingerings manually rather than relying on the onerous auto-generated results. Many thanks for doing yet another chart from these guys...I hope there is more to come. I highly encourage you to take a look at manually setting chord fingerings, FHP (fret hand positions), and sections/phrases in EOF to take your charts up to the next level. It's a small learning curve, but takes minimal time and the results are so much better than just accepting the default output for these things...it's a simple way to more accurately chart the way the song should be properly played (proper playing positions, fingers, etc). Nonetheless, very much appreciated...cheers! |

Thanks for putting this one together...I've always enjoyed some Taproot and this was a fun play through on all 3 paths. Really appreciate that you took the time to manually input chord fingerings and that you used handshapes during the arpeggio parts. Those extra few minutes in EOF really make charts so much better! If you're looking for any feedback: on Rhythm during the last 2 times through the chorus the chord fingerings move away from the actual chord being played a couple times (F5 @ FHP 3 erroneously moves up to the octave shape @ FHP 10, F5 @ FHP 3 moves up to G5 at FHP 5 too early). |

My pleasure! Hope you enjoy my efforts on this one...I always find this track a blast to play. I wish Revis could have held it together and given us a few more solid albums on par with their first. I might get to charting a few more tracks from the DD soundtrack in the future. Please be sure to let me know if you have any issues or see any need for corrections. Stay classy... |

I just grabbed all the songs you did for this album. It was a nice surprise to find them here. Thanks for all your hard work! Hope you enjoy them! It was a lot of work to build these out, but I thought it was about time to get some more OLP into the CDLC database. Be sure to let me know if you spot any need for corrections. Thanks! |

Glad you're enjoying my efforts with charting these Chevelle albums! I have to admit that I was quite a bit beyond middle school days when this was released, but still love playing it on a regular basis. Sci-Fi Crimes guitar charts will be posted within a day or so... Please don't hesitate with any constructive feedback. Enjoy! |
