I could probably tab it BEAD tuning for 5 strings or heavy tunning bass but personally i dont have so i didnt add ( i did in one of the robbie william songs dont remember which but its in the rhythm path) if youd prefer that i could do one. Drop d c is admitidley where most normal basses start to go floppy and require heavier strings. So another alternative i guess would be tab the synth part an octave higher and use the octave pedal in game (although it doesnt sound the best). or unless you mean the notes are wrong...

Usually you want to leave either 1/16th or 1/32 depends on tempo. right now they are all stuck together. If the sustain looks too short then dont include a sustain. Especially on the first riff. If so, and you decide to tab more cdlcs down the road i would suggest you to downoad dlc builder (link in tools menu up above) and use that instead as its more likely you wont have issues with levels and scroll speed like dell has mentioned. There's other small things i noticed that could help the quality of the chart, such as sustain lengths, section lengths etc but character limit is too small and i dont want to swamp you with notifications lol.

Date: June 21, 2024 9:34 AM 		Hey ive only played lead but heres things i think can help improve the quality of your cdlc: 1: leave space between sustains and the next note, can be a 1/16th or 1/32 you choose what think looks better 2: add hand shapes to the main riff/ intro riff. you do this by selecting first note (press shift) and select last note of the arpegiated chord. once they are all highlighed press ctrl+ shift+ h itll highlight the notes in blue. 3: there are some missing notes in the chorus. right now you just have 7 and 8 purple alternating.. pretty sure its more like 7p 10g 8p 10g repeat etc

But the way its tabbed it looks like you dont sustain the previous orange note and i think you are supposed to so it creates tension... so 12blue 12orange to 14b 12o (without picking it again just sustained from previous ) rather than 12b 12o to 14b but i might be wrong

Essentially the tapping part is 4 different variations and then its an octave up.. but the way you tabbed it you have the 4th variation going up the fretboard nd then when you do the same one an octave up instead of repeating the pattern, you went going down the fretboard... so i think itd be easier if the patterns were more consistent and just one of those options was done. or maybe alt paths? regardless i learnt how to play it so thanks.

Yeah after playing it again i was able to fc it :) First time i just felt it looked more complicated than it was playing it. ig i wouldve tabbed the (blue) Dstring 1 on (yellow) A string 6 and then everything the same until maybe the last red 6 in the riff just change it to a 1 yellow...that way there would be less shifting in general (2 times instead of the current 4...but more pinky work so yeah..). Theres always multiple ways to play the riff/its fcable/fun/ i understand why you did it the way you did. Again apreciate your work!

Date: July 30, 2023 3:11 AM 		man i hate the character limit. for rhythm youve got some impossible chords aka the 8 11 doublestop (decent) with an added 2 orange (impossible). id suggest removing the chord shapes/fingering on the string mutes that way its together instead of the whole fretboard. in the 6th section aka prechorus 2? i think it should move to 13 16 doublestop earlier theres probably just more of that instead of the previous chord thats about all again ty.

Date: July 30, 2023 3:00 AM 		it was fun to play! i'm not entirely sure of the bass being right when you placed the notes going to 10 red.. i think theres not that many red 10s think something else is going on but id have to slow it down in eof. i think there were more notes at the end of phrases than in the song for guitar paths. for lead path: (thanks for tabbing synth part) id repeat how you tabbed it at the beggining at the end just for eye sight reading. if you want you can have an alt path the way you tabbed the end, as the intro aswell but its kinda hard to read/play since its mutliple strings all across the fretboard.

Generally good tab! although i do think the tappy part towards the end is off in both lead and alt path.... i think you have the right set of notes but they need to be rearranged in a different order. for example the greens i hear 7 0 3, meanwhile you have it tabbed 7 3 0 etc . after the green 703 i hear her play the same last note (maybe on a diferent string cause sounds a bit different) so all on orange 7 0 h4 it would be nice if you add more sections in that last part since its probably the hardest part of the song and yet its just one big section atm and a very small one for the outro.

Date: March 26, 2023 5:06 AM 		since i left a comment on the other new cdlc of this song i think its only fair to leave one on this one since this one was out before.thanks for putting lyrics! always appreciate thatthe lines could be a little shorter though, click one word shift last word of the prahse and then ctrl m to remark them.. and if you really wanted to you could seperate the words with syllables so awake.... would be a-  wake or if you use ultra star creator you  make sure they have + inbetween a+wake  but i think the most important part is that the lyrics are ingame and are readable/ontime which youve done so ty.i think the lead guitar/ synth layer sounding instrument is tabbed a bit more complicated than it has to be and its requires you to have a guitar with 23 frets which not all guitars have...i understand that its sliding but i think itd be easier to play if you did some string skipping like this and that way any guitar could play itb blue o orange g green p purple9b 11o 9b 12b 9b 11b....12b 14o 11b 12b 11b 14o 11oor a bit less friendly but still doable..4o 7g 4o 3g 4o 7g .......3g 5p 2g 3g 2g 5p 2p or since its just a triad ...4o p2 4o 3g 4o p2 ....(and then the same) 3g 5p 3g 3g 2g 5p 2p Anyways just some options and just something to consider when doing more cdlcs in the futurei think you could reduce the paths and just combine them/ copy paste some of your riffs to make your paths more full/funner to play kinda like how the other new cdlc is a bit more full.anyways just thought id leave a comment hope it helps.

(That being said you can play it in e standard just fine) .so the changes:added string mutesmade them minor/major chords because i heard them being more than power chordshave the D# be an octave higher because i felt like when monkeys version goes down its actually just the bass and the guitar stays added guitar in the breaks added ostinato keyboard/ guitar in choruses (which is what i was refering to in the description that im not sure if the bass notes are right but the high notes are)changed the solo at the end and added more notes ( I have parts of the "solos" melodies in two different paths atm just to vary the tracks a bit but i can make it all in just one )more sections since the old one is...old (but this might not relevant if you fixed it with the cfsm)hmmmim pretty sure theres others i forgot to mention but I dont remember.anyways let me know if you tried it out and something aint right

Date: November 6, 2022 1:23 PM 		Congrats on having another song on the championship!! always enjoy playing your tabs i think you did the right option tabbing the song where its at now cause the transitions to the flute section are smoother than if you wouldve placed it in the bottom strings and the 10 7 9 on the a d g string would turn into 5 2 5 and that would be a further stretch /harder than the "hardest part" currently 10 7 10 so really good job!Some minor things i think could improve for first playthroughs is if you change the fingering to the 7 10 chord.  because atm its registered as fingers 1+3 and i assume if you are playing the 10 before hand you are technicly holding the chord 10 7 10 which would be 3 +1+4 so 7 10 should be 1+4also maybe adding fingering to the individual plucks to the chords would be nice ( not the arpeggion function cause that one makes it harder to read imo, the one that just shows the fingers on the fretboard). i havent used eof in a while so im not sure if it does let you do singles and double notes in the zone (i know r+ does but i have a feeling 2014 might not). Maybe it doesnt and that why you didnt use it so no worries.But again its just minor things and not that nesecary.The cdlc is understandable if you slow it down and i was able to get 96 first playthrough just need to practice the 10 7 10 section a bit more.Again great job!

Date: April 23, 2022 6:54 PM 		Hey thanks really love this song! I think this cdlc could be more friendlier to read if you add handshapes to the parts where you pluck the strings individually. if i remember correctly all you need to do is select the first note hold shift and select the last note of the arpegiated chord,  press cmd or ctrl  h and it should turn the section green i think.  (you have to do this for every arpegiated chord)I say Handshape vs arpeggio  function because the arpeggio adds a bar under the note which is confusing to me atleast especially when chords have open notes like this one does with the b chord. So handshape give you all the information that the arpeggio function gives minus the bar on notes.

So the main thing was  i think you used a tab with a capo on 4th fret (hence why everything is lower 4 notes) so i added the capo for tunning.I also added a gh lead which is basicaly the notes that were being played on gh.Added the vocalsi tried to use the tone from the other vinternoll but for some reason whenever i did it didnt sound anything like it? so i just used mr brightside tone instead but feel free to change it cause im not a fan of it myself.uhhh i think thats it? heres a link to the cdlc and the project file so you can use it if you want to edit it..or if you just want to import the vocals into your own project or something.

(you can use his tone if you import it in the cdlc builder)increase the songs volume, its really low or maybe the tone is just too loud or both.Theres lots of wrong notes kind of seems like alot of the notes are 2 semitones lower than they should be so if you alt a and use your mouse wheel up 2 semitones that will fix alot of notesitd also be nice if you could add lyrics. the rhythm guitar needs work aswell. the main rhythm atm seems more like kareoke than whats really playing.. and the other one has lots of missing notes.i havent tried bass

The acoustic part is definatley easier to read because of the handshapes which makes it easier to play in the bridge/solo.My only gripe is that its not as fun to play cause you took the lead riff out in some areas meanwhile lil ramens left it in. i know both guitars dont play it as shown in their live performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4woQp3J4vjY .Singer doesnt play those areas so i guess your bassing the lead off of him? but its just more fun to play if it had them... if you are then blue pull offs should be there which were in lil ramens 3:17  and i guess  then the palm muted chords shortly after are in the lead section instead of the single doublestops and then thatd also mean the chords at the end. i think the way you tabbed the rhythm guitar at the end riff is off a bit? i think it should be string mutes instead of open strings and the rythm is a bit off because theres more notes going on.. i think you put the string mutes on the lead instead?  speaking of which, the ending riff at 3:22 was better tabbed in lil ramens version.however, if you look at the video i dont think he plays it like ramen had it i think the rhythm guitarist or the guy whose not the singer plays it higher up the fretboard so i assume its on the blue stirng and the orange string.. so b12 o15 b12 o14 b12 o10 o12.   something like thatsorry for long message. just really like this song.

Rhythm has a "solo" altho that should be in part of the lead path. The cgfg cg f thing again. it does have a c bar chord. but it doesn't play it twice where its supposed to. Currently doesn't have the variation that the lead has with the a and e the second time it repeats also in the chorus. so it sounds off anyways cheers! had fun learning it

EDIT: Ok i played it once and from what i can tell the lead seems off or maybe it was the rythm guitar  whichever one you have it go from E to barchord 1st bar and then minor barchord first bar and to A.   i may be wrong but i think it sounds better if you do 022100 go to 0244xx -> 0466xx -> 577xxx(Same as A just that barchord form) i wrote it fattest sting to thinnest which im supposed to do the other way around but i think you understand,

Date: July 26, 2015 1:53 AM 		Hey man! im glad you made all these polyphia songs i myself was converting this song into rs2014 a looooong time ago  but i stopped it so im glad you made it. the only thing that i think is missing is to makeshorter sections not sure how you did dd without sections but ok xD.  To make the sections just go to the start of a beat through the timeline where the arrows are and numbers if you imported a tab and press shift s. youll be prompted with a small menu where you can decide if the section should be chorus intro verse etc. select the appropriate one and press ok. if you dont see any change then you probably have the preference setting unchecked. so go to preference then look for top of 2d pane shows and check RS sections + Phrases I really hope you will make the sections shorter in the future as repeating almost the whole song in riff repeater isnt really helpfull for those tricky parts that i and im sure other players would like to practice. I know that its almost been a year and who knows if your still making them or if you already learnt how to make sections but i just thought i should leave a comment. Anyways thanks for the superb tab!
