About
I don't normally do commissions or requests. Please contact any of my friends in regard to commissions: JokerTheAnarchist, Manch, Djpavs, Emmy-Dell, or Hikikomori.
Exceptions being: Static-X, until I finish the whole discog lol.
Also due to storage space reasons, I've removed the Mac versions of my charts. You can re-build them with the DLC Builder to obtain a Mac chart very easily.
Check out my how to chart video! It's a marathon, but there's chapters at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyeZn3xXEiM

I didn't, CF is bugged out right now and it's showing entries from Feb on the front page. I've noticed it as well, unless it bugged out so hard that it duplicated it. But I def didn't upload it twice lol. You can press Shift + F5 and Ctrl + F5 to clear the cache and that should fix it. Just make sure you do it on the front page. |

Probably not likely, I don't mind Emarosa, but I never really go out of my way to listen to them, let alone tab their stuff. I got 1 more DGD song planned, but transcribing this stuff is pretty difficult, maybe I'll come back some day when I'm better equipped to handle post hardcore chords. I don't do commissions; I spend way too much time on tabs that I'd charge a fortune. You can hit up Manch, JokerTheAnarchist, or Hikikomori for commissions, they do good work. |

Uhhh maybe, I'll have to see if I can find a good cover/tab for it. Will Swan's guitar playing scares me because he's got such wild chords, and the guitars are layered + panned so it's a nightmare to do some of these by ear. |

It's possible, but you have to know the solo very well, and you would probably need 2 pedals. He shifts up 2 octaves most of the time, but one part he shifts to 1 octave perfectly, and if you're on one pedal in the 2 octave mode, it's insanely difficult to land on 1 octave perfectly like that (Or unless you have a guitar actually tuned to Drop A#, you can use "drop tune" mode in 1 octave, and whammy mode on 2 octave). Most likely this solo was pieced together in the studio though. In the live play he only does 1 octave shifts because he only has 1 pedal. I'm not sure how the RSMods + whammy over midi works, if it can somehow detect the pitch shift pedals I have on the tones, then it could work with that. I don't recall hearing about anything that advanced with RSMods, but I've never used that feature. |

Title: Black Star Date: December 15, 2024 5:34 AM |
Yea I'm guilty of not updating the default fingerings in EoF, especially because you have to plan ahead quite a lot or edit individual chords once you get to a spot where you don't end up using the same finger as earlier. I personally prefer to play the chugging sections most of the time for songs like this. I think playing octave chords the whole time is boring imo, but yea technically Rhythm is more of a "Lead" Chart. There are also like 4-5 songs on this album where their G strings are out of tune, so I didn't really want to make it a habit of having the octave chords on Lead a lot for that reason. Appreciate it! Hopefully it helps some people out. I definitely don't really go over the finer stuff like changing fingerings, chord names, etc. which the written guides probably do a better job of doing. I recall hearing that they are going to update the official guide to include a lot more detail. |

I just did a test sync from scratch, and it seems 100.84 is a good point to start at, it's in sync for majority of the song, it goes a little out towards the end, but you'd probably only have to move 1 or 2 points back a bit towards the end. I usually recommend people this video when it comes to syncing up a chart, its a pretty good representation of what I mean when i say match up with the peaks in the audio: https://youtu.be/HQrF_xLdSRg?t=176 |

Title: Hell Date: November 23, 2024 9:08 AM |
The sync is a bit off in general throughout the chart, it gets better at like the very end though. Bar 23 (0:56) - That 1 note is consistently out of sync really bad, by like a 16th note every time it repeats, it's the one that plays by itself after the first initial 2. Bar 31 (1:14) - Exact same issue as the section before, that 1 note is off every time. Bar 42 (1:40) - 000's are supposed to be 0577 and everywhere else they repeat (after the 8881010 chords). A bit after Bar 40 (1:35) - The 0007 is supposed to be 05X9, then it goes to 05X7, then back to 05X9 where you have the octave chord slides. You can see him do it in the live play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCmDVZcPAPk . I'd recommend going back over this chart with the claps enabled in EoF (Press C to enable them), and make sure the claps line up with the drums, because you can tell pretty easily that it's quite out of sync when you do that. Sometimes your audio can be delayed if you use Bluetooth or have a weird monitor though. Make sure the bars are a very tad bit behind the peaks in the audio. I find it easier to tab Disturbed songs in double time, makes it line up better in EoF, and you can halve it in EoF once you're done. |

Yes, Bonus Rhythm is the universal 5-6 string bass path. The game doesn't support 5-6 string bass natively, so you have to use a guitar path and trick it into playing an octave lower with the A220 fix. So if a chart has bass listed on CF, and it only has bonus rhythm in game, it will be bass like 99% of the time. |

The rhythms in the chorus are quite off at times, it's hard to follow along with the pattern that you have. The guitar follows the drums. At the start it's a distorted tone for some reason, there definitely needs to be a boosted clean or something there. The rhythm is quite off in the Chorus' I had to stop following the chart because it was throwing me off. I went back and listened and there's definitely more notes needed and string mutes, etc. between chord changes. At 2:00 there's something else going on than what's charted, sounds like octave chords maybe? Happens again on bar 46, and other random times throughout the song. |

Something feels weird about the octave chords on Lead, in some parts they don't change with the power chords, and it just sounds off rhythmically too, and sometimes I don't think they are even playing. The riff with the harmonics in it, that five unpitched slide supposed to be a slide into 6 (so it's a fret off), and there's supposed to be 3 6's total, then down to 5, but it just shows as 1 6. All of the unpitched slides in the chart are a fret off in general, especially the solo, there's a lot of them. |

I also can't get the palm muted power chords at the start to recognize, but i think that's just my guitar. It recognizes them when i go a fret down, which is weird. But I looked at it in EoF and everything seemed normal? So i think its just my guitar, but im sure someone else would let you know if they are actually screwed up. |

Title: Pain Redefined Date: March 6, 2024 5:16 AM |
The notes go like a 16th note out of sync early on at like 1 minute, and it gets progressively worse through the song (The notes are ahead of the audio). At 1:06 the 222 to 777 power chords, I can hear the G string ring out, so it's probably 2224 to 7779. They use those a lot. It probably uses those in the chorus as well. I personally think you should remove the current accents and use them as staccato indicators instead, since Disturbed are very staccato heavy, it's really nice to know where to mute. At 1:33 where it's the 466 power chords, there's definitely more string mutes and stuff going on. |

It's a pinch harmonic that's played by the Lead guitar. But there is a layer underneath that's playing something else, I put that on Bonus Lead. If I was able to have more than only 3 paths for Lead I would have made a ton of versions, but I made paths for what i feel would be important to learn. |

In general: Highlight every note in the chart by pressing CTRL + A, then move the mouse wheel down a couple of times (or once depending on your grid snap level) to shorten the sustains, so the notes aren't running into each other. You can also use the [ key instead of the mouse wheel. You should connect slides by selecting the first note in the slide, then press Shift + N to connect them. It will have a little arrow showing the note is connected, that way it shows as a slide and not 2 separate notes like it does in the chart. |

Title: Beauty School Date: November 12, 2023 6:23 PM |
The orange 9 slide to 11 before the chorus, there's supposed to be 1 more strum, then a quick slide to 11. Orange 11 into the 12-15 octave chord before the chorus needs to be 2 strums ending on the 12-15 octave chord, like a gallop. Lead should definitely have the power chord slide down into the octave chords like Rhythm does, right before the chorus. You can use Stephen's official playthrough for this song as reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV7xW5tb42Y Probably some other things I didn't notice or feel like noting, but I'd just watch the playthrough video and copy that. |

Title: Beauty School Date: November 12, 2023 6:22 PM |
A few things on Lead: The BIG thing is making sure you set the bent octave chords to ignore, because Rocksmith doesn't detect them. You can highlight them by clicking the first one, then hold shift, and select the last one in the series, then press CTRL + Shift + i to set them to ignore (It will have a little "i" underneath it). You should re-visit the part before the chorus, there's missing strums on the blue 9's and 12's, although on the 12's they are there sometimes. There's also a hammer-on from 9 to 10 before you drop down to 9 on the G string. |

It should be under Bonus Rhythm. It shows a guitar tuner, but it's listed as A220 true tuning. Since it's 5 string bass I have to treat it as a guitar an octave lower. Cause Rocksmith only "officially" supports 4 string bass. |

Title: The Alphabet of Me Date: September 9, 2023 6:43 AM |
Bass charts that are actually 5/6 string charts will usually always be under Bonus Rhythm (or maybe Alt Rhythm on some). Because Rocksmith doesn't technically support 5/6 string bass (If they use string(s) passed 4), so charters have to treat it as guitar and apply a tuning fix to make it play an octave lower than a guitar. It doesn't matter if you're selected on guitar/bass in game, just make sure you pick Bonus Rhythm and it's good to go! |

Title: The Alphabet of Me Date: September 8, 2023 9:00 PM |
I just re-installed the song using the download link here, and tested bass with my 7-string guitar with an octave down. It works fine for me, it's located under the "Bonus Rhythm" path, so it will show a guitar tuner but show A220 as the true tuning. Otherwise, maybe make sure your path isnt set to Bass in game, since it's technically under a guitar chart. Press "CTRL" on any menu in the game, and set it to Lead guitar, then see if you can see the Bonus Rhythm path after that. I don't think it will ever show your percentage on the song unless you click on the song itself, because I don't think Bonus Rhythm does that. But im also not a Rocksmith expert. Edit: I swapped the path to Bass to see, and I get the X you're talking about. But you can still select Bonus Rhythm. So make sure you use that path. |

Not sure if you wanted to look back at this or not. On Lead the strumming patterns aren't completely right, most of them are charted as 1 palm mute before the open note, but I hear 2 notes before the open (Just listen to the start and you'll hear what I'm talking about). After the first set of yellow notes, you have it as a gallop but it's the slower 4 palm mutes like earlier in the song. Pretty much none of the notes match up with the BPM lines, which isn't that big of a deal, cause the sync seems ok. The first set of yellow notes also don't seem to be correct either. |

Title: Cherry Waves Date: August 11, 2023 2:23 PM |
Rhythm tuning is incorrect, you went up instead of down for the tuning. Lead is like a 16th note out of sync most of the time, I'm assuming the rest of paths are as well, but I only played Lead. The pattern that is on Lead stops becoming an audible layer in some parts and becomes some vibrato notes instead. I'm not sure if you did this by ear, but it would be better to put those in, instead of just repeating the same pattern the whole time. |
