I also think it was #1 in some local/regional charts for a long time (on re-peat-peat-peat) especially during that time in southern california. I'm gonna even bet people in middle states probably didn't know this song existed rofl. never really gave the proper respect to these synth-pop songs/groups because everything was done on a synth unlike a traditional band with ppl play their respective instruments. I will try this out though, thanks for the chart!
